Guidelines for Artists

Artists are included in our gallery’s programme of exhibitions by invitation only, but we are happy to accept submissions by e-mail from prospective artists. Please read the below information before you contact us.

Although our Grove Vale gallery space is new, Oliver Projects has existed in one form or another since 2014. Over the years we have built a small roster of artists that we work with on a regular basis, most of whom are mid-career and have exhibited extensively in the UK and abroad. Occasionally we invite internationally renowned artists to exhibit with us as special guests. We do work with a small number of emerging artists but do not specialise in this area.

Artists who are interested in showing their work with us should first visit the gallery or, if this is not possible, explore our website. As with all galleries, we have a house style of sorts and particular areas of interest. Artists should ask themselves whether their work aligns with these, and whether it is at the standard that we consistently exhibit, before contacting us.  If we are not right for you, there may well be another gallery that is.

If you would like to show us your work, please send a short e-mail to katherine@oliverprojects.com with links to your website and Instagram. A PDF with images of five key works is also useful, but not essential. Please do not bring work to the gallery in person.

The gallery is not currently available for rent. Please check out Jeannie Avent Gallery in East Dulwich which is an affordable space available for artists to rent. The Dulwich Artists Open House programme is also a great way to exhibit your work at low cost. We have used both of these options to host exhibitions as part of our journey.

Our exhibitions programme is scheduled one year in advance.
