Marion MacPhee's is a Scottish contemporary printmaker based in Glasgow. Renowned for her singular studies of whales, her limited edition and unique prints - which are informed by her childhood on the Isle of Sky, and travels to remote coastal locations - invite the viewer to consider the power of the natural world.

This new, unframed, vibrant and highly detailed etching was made for our 2026 group exhibition ‘And Other Animals.’

Sophie Herxheimer is a London-based artist and poet whose practice spans drawing, writing, collage, printmaking and performance. Using primarily analogue processes, she creates thought-provoking, witty work which explores memory, heritage and culture through storytelling.

This is a new, framed, limited edition screen-print featuring a poem by Sophie written for our 2026 group exhibition ‘And Other Animals’ (edition no. 1/12). In Sophie’s words:

‘Sydenham Hill Wood is a favourite place for myself, my family and our dog.

When I was thinking about this show, and local animals, I decided to begin with a poetry constraint, and started to look for all the animal names I could create from the letters of ‘Sydenham Hill Wood’. I was surprised to find a hyena, a whale and a few swine, as well as all the other beasts you see depicted. The only likely local one I drew was the toad, and when I looked again, of course there is no T in Sydenham Hill Wood. Perhaps for the sake of its magical presence we could temporarily rename this work The Woods?’

Soheila Sokhanvari is an Iranian-born, UK-based multimedia artist. Her practice – which includes portraiture, taxidermy and working with found objects such as expired passports - explores her home country’s tumultuous political history, and the influence of Western culture in the Middle East.  

This new, unframed limited edition print pays tribute to influential Iranian poet and film director Forough Farrokhzad (1934 - 1967). It is one of 5 artist’s proofs available from the limited edition of 40.

Archie Franks’ imagery explores familiar national cultural motifs such the fairground, puddings and cricket. Characterised by expressive, dynamic mark-making, his playful drawings, prints and paintings often hint at the haunting undertones that nostalgia can evoke. 

The title of this new, framed pastel drawing pays homage to the late Martin Parr, who was celebrated for his vibrant photographs of the British seaside.
