Coco Crampton, Blinker, 2020

£400.00

Woodcut, 46 × 33cm, edition of 25

Devon-based contemporary artist Coco Crampton works in a variety of mediums connected to traditional crafts including ceramic, wool, wood and copper. Exploring historical and contemporary domestic forms and their functions, her colourful reinterpretations - which often include elements of suspension or balance - are both playful and reflective.

The title of this print refers to the part of a horse's harness which limits their field of vision.

In Coco’s words; ‘there’s a fluid band of pink that passes across and through a flat mask-like shape in the print, suggestive of finding a new pathway, or opening up a channel to broaden a view.’

Purchased works are usually despatched within three to five working days.
