Alistair Gow, Flag, 2026 (framed)
Oil on board, 20 × 16cm
Alistair Gow is a Scottish printmaker based in Glasgow. His painterly limited edition etchings and monoprints - with their characteristically vibrant palette - are rooted in observational drawing, and a passion for the process of printmaking.
This framed oil painting on board is one of a group of new small-scale paintings. It takes as its motif a lone white flag which, for the artist, represents a symbol of peace - or perhaps, surrender. This painting is framed in a slim walnut frame without glass.
Please note that this framed work will not be available until 5 July 2026.
