Jake Garfield, Man and Wife, 2026
Monotype on Japanese paper, 26 × 20.5cm (framed)
Jake Garfield is a London-based artist working across printmaking, drawing and painting. His work – which is characterised by a palette of olive greens and terracotta reds - draws upon art-historical and pop-cultural references to reflect on the nature of artifice and selfhood.
This framed monotype is one of a series of three unique works which re-interpret Albrecht Dürer’s renowned etchings depicting Adam and Eve in Jake’s characteristic style.
This work is framed in lime-waxed tulip wood with ‘art glass’ (70% UV resistant and anti-reflective).
Please note that if purchased, this framed work will be packed and despatched after ‘Man and Woman in Garden’ closes on 25 April 2026.
