Jake Garfield, Man and Wife, 2026
Monotype on Japanese paper, 26 × 20.5cm (framed)
Jake Garfield is a London-based artist working across printmaking, drawing and painting. His work – which is characterised by a palette of olive greens and terracotta reds - draws upon art-historical and pop-cultural references to reflect on the nature of artifice and selfhood.
This new, framed monotype is exhibited in ‘Man and Woman in Garden’, our joint exhibition of Jake’s work alongside Bobbye Fermie’s (26 March - 25 April 2026). It is one of a series of three unique works which re-interpret Albrecht Dürer’s renowned etchings depicting Adam and Eve in Jake’s characteristic style.
This work is framed in lime-waxed tulip wood with ‘art glass’ (70% UV resistant and anti-reflective).
Please note that if purchased, this framed work will be packed and despatched after ‘Man and Woman in Garden’ closes on 25 April 2026.
