R&F Mo, Bear Hut 1, 2024 (framed)
Monoprint, fabric and pencil on cardboard, 26 × 24.5cm
R&F Mo’s multi-faceted practice explores connections between the seen, the sensed and the dreamed. Playful and otherworldly, Mo’s imagery often features ‘the Woanderer’, a unique, horse-headed creature that navigates imaginary landscapes whilst exploring the notion of identity.
This collaged work has been hand-printed directly from textured fabric such as lace. A tartan ribbon-lined open door reveals the hut’s occupant. ‘Bear Hut 1’ is framed in oak using anti-reflective, 70% UV resistant glass.
