R&F Mo, Bear Hut Eclipse 2, 2024 (framed)
Monoprint, fabric and pencil on paper, 56 × 77cm
R&F Mo’s multi-faceted practice explores connections between the seen, the sensed and the dreamed. Playful and otherworldly, Mo’s imagery often features ‘the Woanderer’, a unique, horse-headed creature that navigates imaginary landscapes whilst exploring the notion of identity.
The mono-printed areas in this work have been hand-printed directly from textured fabric such as lace. A fabric-lined open door reveals the hut’s occupant. ‘Bear Hut Eclipse 2’ is framed in oak using anti-reflective, 70% UV resistant glass.
