R&F Mo, Blue Kiss, 2024
Watercolour on cardboard, 38 x 45cm
R&F Mo’s multi-faceted practice explores connections between the seen, the sensed and the dreamed. Playful and otherworldly, her paintings, works on paper, and theatrical enactments often feature ‘the Woanderer’, a unique, horse-headed creature that navigates imaginary landscapes whilst exploring the notion of identity.
The colour blue is deeply significant for Mo, who says; ‘For me, blue is an introspective, dreamy colour, and one that I use when I want to be calm and slow rather than loud and shouty. Each of its variable tones laid on a surface contain a possible open, sometimes empty space. The blue sky and the green blue sea, two of earth's greatest open spaces, give us room to breathe, to hold still, be quiet and contemplate’.
Purchased works are usually despatched within three working days.
