R&F Mo’s multi-faceted practice explores connections between the seen, the sensed and the dreamed. Playful and otherworldly, Mo’s paintings, works on paper, and theatrical enactments often feature ‘the Woanderer’, a unique, horse-headed creature that navigates imaginary landscapes whilst exploring the notion of identity.
This unframed linocut is typical of Mo’s zany, vivid imagery. The artist has enjoyed returning to printmaking in recent years, and has found that the process has developed her practice. ‘A new printing space in my studio has given me room to play with different visual ideas and printing processes. This year I discovered an eight-legged smiling being!’. These prints are all hand-coloured by Mo which means that each print in the edition is slightly different.
