Suzanne Moxhay’s complex images use archival or newly-taken photographs as their starting point. Combining a variety of low and high-tech techniques, her digital photomontages and etchings explore interior and exterior spaces that, in the artist’s words, ‘feel as though they have broken down and perhaps been re-claimed’
Bodies of water - in particular the flooding of interior spaces - have played a key role in Suzanne’s recent imagery. In this new work, rain begins to fill an imaginary room, its ripples reflecting the light streaming in.
A white border of approx. 5-7cm is included in the stated paper size and all prints are signed on this border - please see example image below.
